After closing the deal, Zip will provide Target customers an easy checkout experience both online and in-store and interest-free payments to its customers.
“Target Australia is making Christmas shopping even easier with popular payment platform Zip now available for both in-store and online purchases. The addition of Zip further expands our payment options, which also include AfterPay, currently available for online purchases,” Target said in a release.
Kenton Elliot, general manager marketing from Target Australia, said: “We’re pleased to announce that we’ve expanded Target’s payment methods with the introduction of Zip and AfterPay. These payment options are perfect for families purchasing big-ticket items for their loved ones this Christmas – we know that our customers like to be prepared and purchase these types of items early so this year we’re excited that we can offer customers this kind of convenience”.
Target is the leading go-to shop during the holiday season. The “Target effect’ feeling will be in full force because the retailer just made shopping so much easier, with the addition of Zip on their payment methods.
Zip and Afterpay are now accessible on www.target.com.au for online shopping, and Zip is also available for in-store shoppers.
